The Torraccia di Presura winery was founded in 1986 when Paolo Osti, a civil engineer, decided to rediscover his passion for agriculture and embark on a journey that would lead him to transform what was initially a hobby into a successful business producing more than 150,000 bottles per year. Torraccia di Presura's production began by focusing on the historic Chianti Classico brand, then expanded to include IGT Super Tuscan wines using international grape varieties, followed by white and dessert wine, and finally rediscovered the results that other historic native Tuscan grape varieties could produce. Over the years, the winery has received numerous international awards, testifying to the quality of its wines, which are the result of great passion and commitment. The opening of the farmhouse was a natural consequence of the desire to introduce our wines to those visiting the fantastic Chianti region, together with the estate's other product: a high-quality extra virgin olive oil.
