Bovin Winery, established in 1998, holds the distinction of being the first privately built winery in Macedonia. It began its journey with the production of 120,000 bottles of wine. Bovin quickly gained recognition, earning the Champion title at the Agro-Expo Fair in Skopje for its "Venus" red wine. This success continued for seven consecutive years, solidifying Bovin's reputation for producing exceptional wines like "Dissan" and "Daron." Participating in the Belgrade fair "World of Wine," Bovin secured grand gold medals and gold medals from 1999 to 2003, becoming the overall winner of the Fair. The pinnacle of success came at the "Food and Wine" Fair 2000 in Copenhagen, where their "Pinot Noir" was crowned the absolute winner among 650 wines from around the world.Bovin's vineyards boast a rich array of wine varieties, including Chardonnay, Muscat Incense, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Vranec, and many more.Bovin offers a diverse portfolio of 34 wines and alcoholic spirits.
Visitors can indulge in a wine-tasting experience at Bovin's elegantly arranged space, accommodating up to 30 guests. The winery's restaurant and apartments offer picturesque views of the pool and vineyards. Bovin's restaurant provides a luxurious dining experience, featuring specialties like Galician cheese, roast lamb, homemade pies, and traditional dipping sauces. Bovin's path to excellence is evident in its record-breaking wines, including the renowned "My Way" Vranec, once the most expensive wine in Macedonia. The winery continually strives to establish the Vranec variety as a standout in the realm of Balkan wines.
