Tsarev Brod Winery is a project based in the heart of filled with history region of First Bulgarain Kingdom - between the first capitol Pliska(10km), second capitol Great Preslav(30km) and the one and only bas-rock relief in Europe - Madara Horseman(10km).
The project started in 2001 with the planting of Sauvignon Blanc - which is now one of the two oldest Sauvignon Blanc vineyards in Bulgarias modern wine history.
The owners of the company are agronomist and thanks to their hard work, we managed to revive the lost bulgarian grape variety Gergana.
Our winery opened doors in 2015, the same year we made our first vintage aswell, eversince our main goal is to show the individual fragrance of every single vintage. We are litery a mirror of the vineyard. Our main focus is to have delicous wines and we succeed thanks to the work fine wine lees and wine sediment.
