Fantastic views
Branislav and his sister Nina escaped the city in 2008 to grow organic grapes and make natural wine. They chose Plavinci in the rural Belgrade municipality Grocka, just 25 minutes from the city center.
They grow rare varieties and limit the production to the area they can work themselves. Wines regularly receive medals at international competitions and Selena won double-gold and was named the best organic wine in the Balkans in 2021.
Fantastic views spread from the small house where they live and where they welcome visitors for wine tasting which they conduct personally.
Being close to Belgrade, Plavinci with its nearby attractions is an easy half-day or all-day experience without the need to change hotels.
These include Vinča, archeological site of the oldest European civilization, monastery Rajinovac, Dr. Aleksandar Kostić Roman artefacts exhibition, boat rides on the Danube river, legendary restaurant Vinogradi, horse riding club Urban Cowboy and Grocka Cultural Center.
