In our family, everyone gets involved in the tasks. Daughters Sofia and Benedita grew up in the cellar, in the crib or playing on the swings while watching their parents, Manel and Inês, at work. Sofia participates in the processes whenever her studies allow, and Benedita helps as much as her age allows. Patrícia Santos and Mário Oliveira, family at heart, are also fundamental. Patrícia "Young Winemaker of the Year" in 2024, is responsible for oenology, while Mário supervises everything in the vineyard.
Pereira de Melo is the name of our family and also of our project in Dão, which has in its essence the creation of highly complex wines in very limited editions.
