Completely surrounded by greenery, in a place of absolute tranquility, Masseria Amastuola welcomes guests to a location cared for in every smallest detail. The courteous and attentive staff organize guided tours to discover every hidden corner: the historic winery, the fascinating vineyard, and the traditional masseria. Various tours are organized at the masseria, including a visit to the winery, the vineyard, and a food and wine tasting experience.
The Amastuola garden vineyard embodies two key concepts: functionality and aesthetics. The rows of vines were planted according to a design conceived by the renowned landscape architect Fernando Caruncho, who described them as “waves of time that have crossed this place since ancient times.”
In addition, 1,500 centuries-old olive trees have been repositioned across 24 organically arranged islands spread over the entire vineyard and along the historic roads of the Masseria. These olive trees are the result of a historical and monumental restoration project; some are over 800 years old, and the trunk diameter of some exceeds 2.5 meters. The combination of olive trees and vines has created a harmonious visual contrast, pairing the silvery green of the olive trees with the deep green of the vines.
