Il Molinaccio winery is nestled in the historical town of Montepulciano, built upon the remains of an ancient mill, with the original name “Molinaccio” still visible in old cadastral maps. The estate, which includes a luxury guesthouse surrounded by vineyards, oaks, orchards, and olive groves, offers a serene escape. The winery produces a variety of wines from its 3.6 hectares of organically cultivated vineyards, predominantly Sangiovese, including La Spinosa and La Poiana Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG. Since receiving organic certification in 2017, the winery has embraced sustainable practices, using purified well water and a photovoltaic system to meet energy needs. Guests can enjoy tastings of the estate's wines paired with locally sourced food, including jams from the estate’s fruit gardens.
