Castello di Selvole is situated in the historic Chianti Classico region, just 20 minutes from Siena.
Our vineyards spans on 16 hectares with 11 hectares of Sangiovese and 5 hectares of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon, half planted at high density.
Blending Tuscan and French winemaking techniques, influenced by Yves Glories from Bordeaux, we produce approximately 80,000 bottles annually.
Since 2023, we are introducing more techniques of sustainable agriculture, using as little chemicals as possible, monitoring the forests, and cultivating a balanced portion of the fields so as to maintain the local biodiversity.
In October 2023, Siena Food Lab selected Castello di Selvole as part of the innovative project that researches Agriculture of Precision, Sustainability and Tracebility.
