Founded in 1978 by the Pontiglione brothers (Franco and Carlo) and Giuseppe Priola in Verduno, Piedmont, in one of the most prestigious Langhe hills.
Since 2015, under the ownership of the Bosio family, the winery has modernized vineyard management.
Practices sustainable viticulture with attention to terroir differences, expressing the authentic soul of the Langhe in every bottle.
Focuses on native Langhe grape varieties including Nebbiolo for Barolo and Barbaresco, Barbera, Dolcetto, and rare whites like Arneis, Favorita, and Nascetta.
Known as the only producer of Verduno Pelaverga in Italy, a rare and historic grape variety indigenous to the area.
We are in Verduno, on the hills of Barolo, a natural treasure nested between Alba and La Morra, a luminous amphitheatre where the King of wines “Barolo” finds some of its finest and most delicate expressions.
In our vineyards we grow the great traditional grape varieties: Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto and Moscato. But we also give voice to rare and precious varieties, our pearls of Langa: Nascetta, Favorita and especially Pelaverga, of which we are the largest producers in Piedmont.
In the winery we use passion and experience: our philosophy of winemaking is according to artisan tradition, without forcing. Our goal is to enhance the identity of the grape variety while indulging in our wines’ natural propensity for excellence.
