Artemis Karamolegos Winery carries forward the family’s nearly century‑long tradition of cultivating Santorini’s native produce, especially Assyrtiko. The story began in 1952 when his grandfather built the first canava (a local cellar), meant for home‑made wine. Artemis’s passion for the Santorini landscape and his devotion to its heritage culminated in 2003 with the establishment of his new winery in Exo Gonia and the creation of his inaugural vintage.
Today, Artemis’s Winery is celebrated for its exceptional Assyrtiko wines—true reflections of Santorini’s volcanic terroir, crafted with clarity, authenticity, and impressive aging potential. The portfolio includes the essential Classics (Santorini PDO, Nykteri), the Fine Wine Collection (notably the 34 and Pyritis labels), and a curated Single-Vineyards range. Notably, it is the pioneering Santorini estate to produce a skin-contact (orange) Assyrtiko under the Mystirio moniker.
