Once the balloon is inflated and the private pilot made sure that the flying conditions are absolutely safe, you will be asked to enter the basket. Once safely inside the basket, your private pilot will give you a full briefing and explain what to expect during the flight and landing: afterwards, we will be ready to take off! Enjoy our beautiful planet from the sky, and experience Tuscany and Florence from above. The private flight will last approximately 1 hour, and you will gradually ascend as high as 2,000 feet (609 meters). The view from above will take your breath away: Tuscany and Florence skyline are enchanting, and only very few people are lucky enough to be able to appreciate their beauty from above. The landscape is dotted by endless cypresses, rolling hills, countless rows of vineyards and olive groves, not to mention the view of Brunelleschi's Cupola from afar. Don't forget to take as many photos as possible of your private hot air balloon experience, unleash the photographer in you! Once the flight is over, while the pilot and his crew put the balloon away, you can enjoy a rich and tasty breakfast with local products. It goes without saying that we will cheer up with some bubbles! Our post-flight breakfast is one of the best in Italy, we serve only the highest quality products, from a wonderful bakery that you will probably fly over during your private balloon experience. At the end of the private experience, your private driver will pick you up directly at the airfield to take you back to your accommodation in Florence, full of happy memories.Once you have booked your balloon ride, we will send you a flight confirmation via e-mail. The night before your scheduled hot air balloon experience, we will send you a message confirming the exact pick up time at your hotel in Florence. It varies as the sun rises earlier or later during different times of the year, but as a general rule, we we take off with sunrise, so expect to be early! Your private pilot will prepare you for landing. This is a really enjoyable part of the balloon experience, it's different every time, it can be very gentle, or you can have a slight adrenaline rush, it all depends on the wind on that specific day. Our crew will always let you know in advance if it's going to be a little rowdy, we've done this many times before!
