Tour starts at 11am, 3pm, 6:30pm. After a fun introduction, you will discover the secrets of how to make pizza from your pizza chef (pizzaiolo). You will learn how to create tender, flexible dough that stretches to almost paper-thinness. Then, listen closely as the chef describes “tricks” to make a tasty but light tomato sauce. When you bake pizza in your own oven back home, you and your guests will be amazed when they taste the true Italian flavors. After learning to make pizza, it’s time for a gelato! Explore the simple, raw ingredients, and learn how to select from the best products available. You will learn about the flavor development and application of natural colors, the heating and freezing techniques, and how they have different effects on ingredients. While the science behind gelato is fascinating, the best part is the final product! Watch the warm chocolate drizzle into the fresh cream, and when it is the perfect consistency… It will finally be time for your taste test!
