Tenuta Bastonaca is a winery located inside an ancient millstone from the Eighteenth century, offering visitors a unique sensory experience. The millstone welcomes guests with the fragrant aroma of freshly pressed grapes and boiling must. The winery is in Contrada Bastonaca, historically known as the heart of Cerasuolo di Vittoria, Frappato, and Nero d’Avola production. The estate covers 15 hectares and features head-trained bush vines, renewing a glorious past while looking towards the future. The vines are manually cultivated using organic farming methods, without irrigation, to ensure the grapes capture the land's warmth and sunshine. In addition to the vineyards, a thousand ancient olive trees of the Carolea variety enhance the landscape. Visitors can anticipate future projects that will allow them to enjoy the countryside, stroll through the vineyards, and participate in preparing traditional Sicilian dishes.
