Visit Quinta da Almiara, find more about our history, that begins at the ancient “lagar” and goes on to modern days with a fully equipped new cellar. We will finish our tour on the roof top with a privileged 360º view over one the most beautiful vineyards landscape of the Lisbon Region.
Quinta da Almiara has a banquet room with capacity for up to 200 guests. Here you can enjoy a prime space, that is ample and welcoming for all types of events. Besides its magnificent interior space, with its fine vista over our vineyards, the Quinta also has a terrace, a perfect space with a 360º view of the surrounding area, where you can sit and have an aperitif or simply enjoy the scenery.
Quinta da Almiara is surrounded by 180 hectares of vineyard, and is located in a place of great scenic beauty, in the parish of S. Mamede da Ventosa, in Torres Vedras, part of the Lisbon Wine Region, in Portugal. It's a very old wine production region, with a temperate climate without any wide temperature variations, with gentle hills and strongly influenced by the Atlantic due to the proximity of the ocean.
Quinta da Almiara is a family business that has been dedicated to the production of high quality red, rose and white wines since 1980. We have planted selected red and white grape varieties in our vineyards: Touriga Nacional, Alicante Bouschet, Caladoc, Tinta Roriz, Shyrah, Fernão Pires, Arinto and Moscatel.
Our wines are obtained exclusively from the grapes produced on the estate. Our grapes are vinified in our cellar, which has been totally remodelled and equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, with a storage capacity for 5 million litres in stainless steel vats.
