Orfila Vineyards and Winery is a boutique winery nestled in the picturesque San Pasqual Valley of Escondido, California. Founded in 1994 by Alejandro Orfila, a former Argentine ambassador, the winery has become a prominent figure in Southern California’s wine scene, celebrated for its artisanal, small-batch handcrafted wines. Orfila is particularly renowned for its Rhône-style varietals, which beautifully reflect the character of the land.
Spanning over 70 acres, with 40 acres planted in premium grape varietals, Orfila benefits from a Mediterranean-like microclimate—warm days balanced by cool coastal breezes—perfect for producing high-quality grapes.
