The estate spans 40 hectares of vineyards, with all wines made exclusively from estate-grown grapes, reflecting the unique terroir of the region. Under the leadership of Baron Alessandro de Renzis Sonnino, the winery blends tradition with innovation, crafting wines of remarkable character. The 17th-century cellars within the castle provide an ideal environment for aging wines in wooden barrels and barriques, resulting in rich, complex flavors. Castello Sonnino is renowned for its exceptional wines, including the Chianti Montespertoli DOCG Sonnino and the San Leone IGT Toscana Merlot.
