Château Destieux Saint-Emilion Grand Cru has been officially classified as a Grand Cru Classé since 2006, recognizing its quality and status within the Saint-Émilion appellation.
For centuries, the name Destieux, derived from "Des Yeux," refers to a place where villagers have gathered to admire the sunsets over the Dordogne Valley, highlighting a deep connection between the estate and its scenic natural surroundings
Château Destieux is situated on one of the two highest points in Saint-Émilion, with its 8-hectare estate overlooking the Dordogne Valley.
For nearly 50 years, the Dauriac family has passionately managed the estate, continuously advancing the quality of this cru with a clear ambition: to devote all efforts both in the vineyard and the cellar to produce each year a concentrated wine that is simultaneously elegant and structured, embodying the aristocratic expression of a privileged terroir.
