This is the story of a dream that came true, the one of Mattia and Francesca, born and raised in the North of Italy and than married and settled in Tuscany following their passion for wine and hospitality. We renewed an abandoned winery and farm and started producing wines and extra virgin olive oil with organic agriculture, while also providing hospitality for guests all over the world that would like to have a true taste of Tuscany!

Winery Description:

Podere La Quercia is a family-owned farm and winery where you can experience hospitality in beautiful rooms overlooking the Tuscan hills and the San Gimignano towers, as well as have a taste of authentic Tuscan wines and extra virgin olive oil paired with local homemade food. The Vernaccia di San Gimignano, the typical white wine specific of this little paradise in the heart of Tuscany, where the fresh and fruity aromas are balanced with a surprising full-bodied wine in your palate, and a refreshing crispness. The Riserva offers a more intense and complex experience, with rich aromas of ripe fruit, honey, and hints of wood. For the reds, there is our Chianti Colli Senesi, a beautiful wine to enjoy with food and friends, with its rich aroma and its fresh and harmonious taste. At last, we produce a IGT Super Tuscan red, a blend of San Giovese with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, a meditation wine to sip slowly to best appreciate the complex bouquet and persistent notes on the palat.
