Cooking classes are a great way to discover the techniques behind Italy’s famous cuisine!

  • The Chiesa del Carmine Chef will help you prepare an authentic three course Umbrian meal with the focus on participation and education.
  • Participants will then enjoy their meal downstairs at Vineria del Carmine and taste a selection of our wines, matched by our sommelier to each dish.
  • Our cooking classes are designed for 4 to 14 participants and take place in the state of the art Demanincor kitchen above our cellar door at Vineria del Carmine.
  • Guests will leave having learnt new cooking techniques, with their recipe notes, and having enjoyed a tutored tasting of our award-winning wines.
  • All participants will also be provided with an apron and other Chiesa del Carmine products.
Discover the art of Italian cooking at Vineria del Carmine with an immersive class led by the Chiesa del Carmine Chef. Prepare an authentic three-course Umbrian meal in a hands-on session focused on education and participation. While the chef perfects your dishes, enjoy a selection of locally sourced cured meats, cheeses, and a glass of wine as an aperitivo—the true Italian way to start a meal.

Afterward, savor your creations paired with wines expertly matched by the sommelier in the cozy Vineria del Carmine. Classes take place in a state-of-the-art kitchen above the cellar door and cater to 4–14 participants. Guests leave with new culinary skills, recipe notes, and exclusive Chiesa del Carmine products, including an apron. Flexible menus accommodate dietary needs, and children are welcome. The two-and-a-half-hour experience combines learning, tasting award-winning wines, and enjoying the food you’ve created — a perfect blend of Umbrian culture and cuisine.
