Kovačević Winery started wine production in 2001. Having taken over the winery from his father, Miroslav Kovačević, as the third generation of winemaker, began to create top quality wines.
Over the years, we have tried to constantly supplement our winery and our cellars with new technologies, new equipment, new and different barrels, not only for the sake of reliable quality or new experiments, but also because we want to constantly add new breadth and new possibilities to our ideas and our wines. possibilities.That search made us turn to the production of wines of specific styles using the oldest winemaking techniques, such as long macerations of grapes and wine production in amphorae, whose tradition goes back several thousand years. A step further is preserving tradition and returning to nature, and we have dedicated ourselves to organic production. Since there is no stopping in viticulture and winemaking, we are slowly stepping into the future, exploring biodynamic viticulture.
