Winery Description:
Founded in 1906, Terres de Lavaux brings together 58 owners who collectively manage around 20 hectares of vineyards located in the Lavaux AOC, stretching from Lutry to St-Saphorin. What makes this winery unique is that these vineyards are cultivated by a small number of winegrowers, ensuring great consistency in their farming practices. These practices are aligned with the principles of adaptive organic viticulture, an innovative production method that focuses both on ecologically protecting the vines against diseases and on adapting to the steep slopes of Lavaux, using techniques that avoid the use of herbicides. Terres de Lavaux has been honored with numerous prestigious awards in recent years, attesting to the high quality of its wines. The most recent distinction is the title of Best Chasselas in the World for our Lutry Tradition 2023, with a production of over 15,000 bottles, which placed second overall at the Mondial du Chasselas 2024 in Aigle.
