Founded in 2004 by Guillermo García Lamadrid, the estate reflects his remarkable journey from Cuba to the United States and ultimately to Argentina, where he realized his dream of crafting world-class wines. Guillermo carefully selected this area for its clay and loam soils, warm days that produce thick-skinned grapes with velvety tannins, and cool nights that ensure perfect acidity. Lamadrid Estate Wines offers a diverse portfolio of single-vineyard wines that showcase the unique characteristics of Agrelo's terroir. Their Malbecs are celebrated for dense black fruit flavors with hints of dark chocolate and orange peel, while their Cabernet Franc has earned accolades as one of Argentina’s finest examples of the varietal!
