Originally belonging to the Benedictine monks of Badia a Coltibuono, the estate has evolved over the centuries, becoming a symbol of Chianti Classico's winemaking tradition. Today, it is owned by Viticola Toscana, a company established through a pioneering crowdfunding initiative in the 1960s. The winery is renowned for its elegant and structured wines, which reflect the unique terroir of its five distinct vineyard zones. Castello di Meleto also produces extra virgin olive oil and engages in sustainable practices, ensuring a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation
