• Bononia Estate Winery & Resort is a luxury boutique complex, which lays on the bank of the Danube river in Koshava village, Vidin region. It is located 250 km away from Sofia and 15 km from Vidin and the “Vidin – Calafat” bridge above the river, which provides quick and easy access from and to Romania. The hotel building is surrounded by some of the most fertile and suitable for vineyards growing lands in Bulgaria. The hotel, together with the cellar and the 1600 decare vineyards form the whole complex “Bononia Estate Winery & Resort”, whose aim is to establish itself as one of the best wine destinations in Eastern Europe. The hotel was nominated as “Building of the Year” and meanwhile it has won the “Best hotel with a wine cellar“ and „Best restaurant with signature cuisine” prizes.
